KIDS & FAMILY

This section is all about where to go with your kids in Parma. You'll find a list of parks, courses and camps, and other ideas. Parks

Parks are abundant in Parma, in the city centre we have:

 Cittadella , Parco Ducale, Botanic Gardens, Parco Ferrari and Parco Bizzozero.

Cittadella has trampolines, a ball-pit and carousel for kids.

Parco Ferrari has Gommaland , a kids' park with inflatable slides, trampolines and other fun activities. 

 

Outside Parma City:
Parco Nevicati, Collechio is worth the trip: nice playground, bar and lots of animals!

Boschi di Carrega - a protected woodlands park that has hiking and mountain biking trails.

Weekly Meet Ups

Moms & Tots

This group is for all mums/moms, mamme, or mothers-to-be, living in Parma who want to socialise while their babies and toddlers play.  Meet Polly and her toddler, Ella, every Wednesday!

Courses & Camps:

Sports - Ercole Negri  at Campus offers a wide variety of sports activities including artistic gymnastics, judo and swimming.

CUS is another multisport facility at Campus.
Climbing: Pareti San Pancrazio and Stone Temple climbing & wellness

Trampoline, Parkour and Gymnastics: Langhirano Ginnastica

Choir: Coro di Voci Bianche of Teatro Regio

Theatre classes: Teatro delle Briciole (teenagers), Europa Teatri (kids aged 6 to 18), Teatro del Cerchio (kids aged 6 and up), Theatro del Vicolo


Circus: Circolarmente proposes lessons of circus for kids aged 3 and up.

Music:  Arte e Suoni for kids 4 and up. Music together for kids under 5, Parma Frontiere, as well as at CEM LIRA

and for serious musicians at Conservatorio di Parma.

Cinema

Cinema Astra: for Italian and European Films

Cinema d'Azelgio: Film club with weekly screenings

The Space Cinema: for more mainstream, big-budget films

Swimming Pools

​

Summer in Parma, means it's HOT! Escape the heat with your little ones by checking out some of these local swimming pools:

Level Rustici: covered pool in the city center that is open yearround. They also have fitness classes and a wellness center.

​

Sport Center Negri: Located in the Campus neighborhood. The complex includes an outdoor pool, volleyball court and a bar.

​

Molinazzo Swimming Pools: Located south of Parma in Lesignano dei Bagni, the Molinazzo facility has beautiful pools with waterslides and a pirate ship, restaurants and wellness areas. (OPEN ONLY IN SUMMER MONTHS)

Villa Bonelli Lido: Located south of Parma in San Polo di Enza, this facility has three pools, volley ball, fitness classes and a bar

 

Play Spaces and Other Ideas!

Magicomondo - indoor play space for young kids (under 10ish). Also good for birthday parties.

Divertilandia - similar to Magicomondo, Divertilandia is big indoor play space in the center of Parma.
